Abstract

This paper argues that typical conservative evangelism answers questions which are very different to those that people are now asking. Evangelism should be attentive to the questions that are being asked, and it is proposed that these are primarily around community. The notion of proclaiming the Kingdom of God is reimagined as proclaiming the Kin-dom of God, and it is argued that building community through acts of service and pastoral care should be a primary concern.
